A trapezoidal screw is a screw with a trapezoidal thread profile that, when rotated within a corresponding nut, produces a linear motion. This type of thread offers a higher load capacity and resistance to self-locking compared to other threads, such as metric threads.

Features

The main products are lead screw, multi-start thread screw, left hand & right hand screw. Thread standard could be GB standard, German standard DIN103, American Standard ACME. The screw material could be carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc.; nuts material could be brass, tin-bronze, Al-bronze, POM, carbon steel, cast iron, free-cutting steel, etc. Special specifications products can be customized according to the your request, including lead screws, nuts M0.5-M6 modulus of worm and worm gear.

We have various combinations of nuts, cylindrical, hexagonal, flanged and in various materials (steel, stainless steel, bronze or plastic).

Application

Applications

Trapezoidal screws are used in a wide range of industries and equipment, thanks to their versatility and ability to transmit force and motion accurately and efficiently. Some of their most common applications include:

Machine tools: In lathes, milling machines and drills, trapezoidal spindles are used for tool feed, workpiece positioning and other linear movements.

Presses: In mechanical and hydraulic presses, trapezoidal screws are used to apply force and pressure in material forming processes.

Lifts and platforms: These are used in elevators, work platforms and other lifting equipment to move loads vertically.

Linear Actuators: Trapezoidal screw drives are the basis of many linear actuators used in industrial automation, robotics and control equipment.

Workbenches: On workbenches and lifting tables, trapezoidal spindles allow precise adjustment of the working height.

Measuring Equipment: In precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, trapezoidal spindles are used to perform precise linear displacements.
