 NFD Solar inverter for PV pump

Positioned in environmental-friendly and economical PV market, the product is applicable to PV pump system,replaces water storage with electric storage and needs no battery modules. The direct current generated bysolar modules is input to the inverter and then converted into the alternating current to drive various pumps directly. Additionally, the output frequency is adjustable in real time according to sunlight intensity change.

Across the world, we face huge scarcity of power supply for our agriculture lands, rural areas and even at cities, which results in loss of efficient use of natural resources, human energy and money. Our farmers have to work during night as they don’t get power supply from Grid during day time, also the power quality is very poor. The solar power is the solution for all these problems, but it should be cost effective also. Presently what solutions we are having in market are not applicable to traditionally used AC induction motors directly & DC motor based solutions are accounting to huge initial cost as well as maintenance cost.

Moving ahead to next generation in combination of solar power and NFD technology NIETZ Presents its special NFD for running AC induction motor pumps during day time with direct DC from solar array, without any battery backup which results in minimum losses and maximum efficiency.

 System Design and Working:

This system is composed of a solar array, a pump and a solar pumping inverter. The solar array, an aggregation of many solar modules connected in series and parallel, absorbs sunlight radiation and converts it into electrical energy, providing dynamical water for the whole system. The pumping inverter controls and adjusts the system operation and converts the DC produced by solar array into AC to drive the pump, and adjust the output frequency in real-time according to the variation of sunlight intensity to realize the maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The pump, drive by 3-phase AC motor(415V & 220V), can draw water from the deep wells or rivers and lakes to pour into the storage tank or reservoir, or directly connect to the irrigation system, fountain system, etc.

 

Existing AC motor based systems can be used: We know that traditionally across South Asia, we are using AC induction motors for pumping system, so with this advancement in technology there is no need to replace the existing one. Only you have to add Solar Panel & controller to run existing AC motor during day time and at night Grid power can be used.

System Application

Mainly used in the project of water diversion for the planting and protecting of the river water soil losing. Normally solar energy is widely applied for those region  where is no power or power unstable. The system can be adapted into the  irrigation for the Economic crops (Barren mountain forest ), water supply for the Desertification control of the natural ecological protection zone. We can using the system to provide the living water for the region where is lack of electricity in remote mountainous areas, farms, schools, hospitals, factories and household.
